The Postgraduate Program in Accounting Sciences (PPGCC) of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) in Campo Grande – Mato Grosso do Sul, announces an invitation to foreign students from different countries to submit projects aligned with the themes of our research team.

About the PPGCC

The Master’s degree in Accounting Sciences, from the School of Administration and Business – ESAN, of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul – UFMS, was recommended by the Commission for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – CAPES in October 2016. The area of ​​concentration is “Accounting and Controllership” with two lines of research: (1) Corporate Accounting and Finance and (2) Management Control.

The objective of the course is to train masters with a solid theoretical and empirical foundation in research, to work as teachers and researchers or as highly qualified professionals to work in private or public organizations, preferably to promote the development of the Central-West region of the country.

How a foreign student can join the Program

To join the Program, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Contact the program’s secretariat to find out the procedures. Send an email to: ppgcc.esan@ufms.br
• Applications for the program can be made at any time of the year.
• Send the requested documents by email to the secretariat. The program’s Director will declare the candidate’s acceptance and issue the Letter of Acceptance.

For financial assistance (scholarship):

Candidates from developing countries with which Brazil has a Cultural and/or Educational Cooperation Agreement, such as the Graduate Student Program (PEC-PG), can check the possibility of applying for financial aid. El Programa de Posgrado en Ciencias Contables (PPGCC) de la Universidad Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), en Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, invita a estudiantes extranjeros de diferentes países a presentar proyectos alineados con los temas de nuestro equipo de investigación.

Acerca del PPGCC

La Maestría en Ciencias Contables, impartida por la Escuela de Administración y Negocios – ESAN, de la Universidad Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul – UFMS, fue recomendada por la Comisión de Perfeccionamiento del Personal de Nivel Superior – CAPES en octubre de 2016. El área de concentración es “Contabilidad y Control de Gestión” con dos líneas de investigación: (1) Contabilidad y Finanzas Corporativas y (2) Control de Gestión.

El objetivo del curso es formar maestros con una sólida base teórica y empírica en investigación, para ejercer como docentes e investigadores o como profesionales altamente calificados para trabajar en organizaciones privadas o públicas, preferentemente para promover el desarrollo de la región Centro-Oeste del país.

Cómo puede un estudiante extranjero unirse al Programa

Para unirse al Programa, el candidato debe cumplir con los siguientes criterios:

• Contactar con la secretaría del programa para conocer los procedimientos. Enviar un correo electrónico a: ppgcc.esan@ufms.br
• Las solicitudes para el programa pueden presentarse en cualquier momento del año.
• Enviar la documentación solicitada por correo electrónico a la secretaría. El Director del programa declarará la aceptación del candidato y emitirá la Carta de Aceptación.

Para ayuda financiera (beca):

Los candidatos de países en desarrollo con los que Brasil tiene un Convenio de Cooperación Cultural y/o Educativa, como el Programa de Posgrado para Estudiantes (PEC-PG), pueden consultar la posibilidad de solicitar ayuda financiera.
